Sterling Photograph collection

This collection of photographs portrays a 1919 tribute to fallen soldiers of World War I in Dorchester County, Maryland. It also features a photocopy of a photograph taken from an unidentified book featuring the Cambridge High School Sophomore Volleyball team in 1914. The team is comprised of young women. Also of note is a 1907 photograph of the Cambridge Baseball Club, winners of the Eastern Shore and Delaware baseball championship of the same year. Team members have been identified on the back of the photograph by last name only. Do not attempt to flip the photograph. Stevens and Thomas Family Collection

This collection contains business and personal papers collected by Herman Stevens, including copies of the Daily Banner, personal photographs, certificates, obituaries, and papers from the Methodist Church. This collection also contains a large tintype portrait of a man dated circa 1870s, a large crayon portrait of a child, a copy of the Cambridge Democrat Newspaper from 1851, a 1912 cruise brochure booklet, and a July 1917 copy of National Geographic.
